| Job Duties |
1. Receives and dispatches calls for in-house answering service, using
computer for recording and logging messages and information
relating to each call in accordance with multiple protocols;
effectively responds to emergency situations.
2. Receives and triages incoming switchboard calls for campus and
affiliated institutions using telephone equipment and personal
computer in order to document calls.
3. Completes reports as specified by CTCS Supervisor, which may
include completing reports and documents relating to medical
emergencies, critical equipment reports, reports relating to
operation of in-house answering service, and reviewing of
messages for correct grammar and spelling.
4. Functions as shift leader to lower level positions, including
communicating daily activities to CTCS staff and management,
providing support to Medical Telephone Receptionists of routine
tasks, and assisting in training new employees on equipment and
policies and procedures.
5. May provide working supervision to small group of Medical
Telephone Receptionists in performance of routine work tasks.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
