| Job Duties |
1. Maintains high level of customer service to all internal and
external customers.
2. Organizes and directs administrative and business functions of
clinic to include establishing, reviewing, and revising policies
and procedures.
3. Supervises Clinic Staff Supervisors(s) to ensure clinic operates
in efficient manner.
4. Coordinates staff schedules to ensure support of clinic operations.
5. Monitors work flow and ensures adherence to policies and
procedures; recommends and/or implements changes as necessary to
maintain efficient clinic.
6. Prepares or assists in preparing annual budget; monitors and
provides input on clinic expenditures; ensures appropriate
accounting practices and procedures are followed; prepares and
submits various budgetary reports.
7. Oversees billing activities of clinic and resolves discrepancies
between patient, carrier, and physician; ensures correct billing
codes are utilized.
8. Oversees establishment and maintenance of patient charts and
records, determination of eligibility status and/or financial
billing class, registration of patients, and check in/check out
procedures.
9. Maintains patient confidentiality in accordance with university and
department policy.
10. Designs executes, and maintains effective system of internal
controls which provides reasonable assurance that operations are
effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, and financial
information is reliable
11. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies,
and procedures.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
