1. Graduate of accredited Nursing school, registration and
certification as Nurse in State of Texas, cardio-pulmonary
resuscitation certification, and texas driver's license, and one

| Job Duties |
1. Provides direct nursing care, including patient observation and
delivery of prescribed treatments.
2. Evaluates outcomes of patient care. Consults with other disciplines
as required. Adjusts nursing care processes as necessary.
3. Maintains patient records and charts to ensure accurate record of
treatment, including med profile, care plan, communication notes,
etc.
4. Provides instructions to patients/families for use of products and
services utilizing nursing process to address learning needs.
5. Prepares, hangs, monitors, and discontinues IV fluids. Accesses IV
delivery system (ie. peripheral IV start, implant cath, broviac,
etc.).
6. Responsible for overall delivery of quality patient care that
meets or exceeds established standards and provides assistance in
activities to meet state and/or federal regulatory guidelines.
7. Maintains safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for
patients/families in accordance with established standards.
8. Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Program.
9. Provides supervisory visits for Home Health Aides and LVNs as
required by state and federal regulations.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
