Experience & Education Required (any one of the following):

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a minimum of eight (8) years experience in contract administration, including the review and understanding of legal contracts, terms, and conditions.  

Skills And Abilities
Security This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
 Job Duties 1. Coordinates contracts review and execution and track processes to fulfillment.

2. Prepares and reviews contract bids, payment plans, and provide all bid and contract items for the Capital Projects Division review and approval.

3. Assists with initial review of contracts to ensure terms are in accordance with University policies and procedures.

4. Administers changes and claims for cotracts. Ensures each assigned invoice processed for payment is consistent with terms, conditions, and payment provisions of a valid contract or subcontract.

5. Monitors contractors for HUB and insurance compliance in accordance with contractual requirements.

6. Assists with preparation of invitation for bid and request for proposal solicitation packages.

7. Supports Project Managers to resolve contractual and invoice issues. Participates in pre-bid, pre-award, and pre-construction conferences, negotiations, and meetings.

8. Provides effective record keeping to ensure all contract documents are readily accessible.

 Comments Prepares, issues and updates contracts in accordance with university policies and procedures. Prepares and reviews contract bids, payment plans, and provide all bid and contract items for the Physical Plant.
