| Experience & Education Required
(any one of the following): |
1. Bachelor's degree in Commercial or Fine Arts with at least
one or more years experience in an ad agency environment.
Minimum 5 to 6 years of design experience. Must have extensive
experience in managing print work through all stages of
production, as well as experience with Web design.
2. Position requires proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe
Illustrator.
3. Health care experience a plus.

| Job Duties |
1. Design and execute major communications pieces, including marketing
and donor cultivation brochures and newsletters, annual reports,
direct mail promotions, magazines, and print advertising campaigns.
2. Design Web pages, microsites, and other online interfaces.
3. Supervise and oversee the work of freelance designers if necessary.
4. Work closely with the Associate Director of Design Services to
ensure that client expectations are met on a per project
basis in terms of budget, quality and turnaround time.
5. Work well under tight deadlines and be able to maintain cordial,
productive, and professional relationships with co-workers and
clients.
6. Support and expand upon institutional branding efforts.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
