| Job Duties |
1. Defines and analyzes business and/or scientific problems of most
complex types which requires programming expertise for their
solution.
2. Coordinates user personnel and other computer professionals in
analyzing and defining such problems for computer solutions.
3. Designs and supervises design of computer system to accomplish
solution of each problem, integrating computer capabilities with
user requirements.
4. Approves selection or modification of programs or program
systems, including structure of restructure of data formats.
5. Estimates resources required for project and planning purposes;
schedules computer hardware to provide more economical use of
existing equipment.
6. Directs implementation of systems or job streams.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
