| Job Duties |
1. Installs, terminates, and tests copper and fiber optic cable.
2. Installs and tests telephone sets, data modules, modems, patch
panels, software, etc.
3. Assists Senior Installer in cable record maintenance and
installation documentation.
4. Installs and assists Senior Installer with Fiber optic testing
and/or splicing.
5. Troubleshoots and repairs telephones, data modules, modems, and
other telecommunication equipment.
6. Troubleshoots and repairs network wiring.
7. Performs fault isolation procedures on fiber optic and copper
cable.
8. Assists with special projects.
9. Prepares, cleans, and organizes switch room and equipment.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
