Experience & Education Required (any one of the following):

1. High school graduation or GED and ten (10) years progressively responsible and applicable experience in one or more of relevant areas, including at least two (2) years in supervisory capacity and six (6) months experience with spreadsheet and word processing software.

 Job Duties 1. Manages Information Resources section, such as Network Services, Software Systems Programming, Computer Training, etc. following university policies and procedures and using effective management, communication, and customer service skills to develop and ensure effective program.

2. Develops, revises, recommends, and interprets policies and procedures for section to ensure all applicable laws and governmental guidelines are followed and that employees are treated in equitable manner.

3. Coordinates various projects and programs for section ensuring all tasks are completed by established deadlines and to ensure that quality customer service is provided for faculty and staff.

4. Assists campus departments in assessing technical requirements that meet needs of their operation.

5. Completes work specific to assigned section using appropriate technologies and communication skills.

6. Supervises group of professional and/or administrative support employees.

7. Performs other duties as assigned.

 Comments Preferred candidate for the Information Resources Manager of Radiology Informatics should have 10 years applicable experience in Radiology (RIS/PACS) including at_least two years in a supervisory capacity. Candidate should possess a strong working knowledge of Radiology operations, superior project management, and orgaizational and interpersonal skills. Preferred candidate should have the ability to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and reslove problems expediently. Previous RIS/PACS support experience including maintenance, testing, implementation, and managing medium and large projects for RIS/PACS deployment is preferred.
