Experience & Education Required (any one of the following):

1. High school graduation or GED plus successful completion of vocational training in computer programming and five (5) years experience in computer operation and/or programming, including at least one (1) year as Programmer Analyst I or equivalent.

Security This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
 Job Duties 1. Defines and analyzes problems of moderate complexity or assists user personnel in analyzing and defining such problems for computer solutions.

2. Designs computer system to accomplish solution of each problem, integrating computer capabilities with user requirements.

3. Reanalyzes problem if computer cannot handle original design effectively; makes modifications as necessary.

4. Selects or modifies existing programs or program systems as applicable and structures data formats for solution of problems.

5. Implements systems or job streams.

6. Estimates resources required for project and planning purposes.

7. Schedules computer hardware to effect more economical use of existing equipment.

8. Performs other duties as assigned.

 Comments Position requires experience in clinical reporting, preferably Epic Clarity or Work Bench. Skills required include Business Objects, MS SQL 2005/2008 with experience in SQL Server Reporting Services or Analysis Services being a definite plus.
