Experience & Education Required (any one of the following):

1. High school graduation supplemented by successful completion of vocational training in computer programming and seven (7) years experience in computer operation and/or programming, including at least one (1) year as Programmer Analyst II or equivalent.

Security This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
 Job Duties 1. Defines and analyzes business and/or scientific problems of most complex type or assists user personnel in analyzing and defining such problems for computer solutions.

2. Designs computer systems to accomplish solution of each problem, integrating computer capabilities with user requirements.

3. Reanalyzes computer programming problems from original design and makes modifications as necessary.

4. Selects or modifies existing computer programs or applicable program systems and structures data formats for solution of problems.

5. Implements or leads implementation of systems or job streams.

6. Assists in estimating required project resources.

7. Provides technical advice and guidance to other computer professionals for solution of work problems.

8. Performs other duties as assigned.

 Comments Developer responsible for data warehouse architecture, development and quality assurance. Familiarity with dimensionally-modeled data warehousing and experience with Microsoft SQL Server required. Knowledge of Microsoft Analysis Services a plus. Experience in data profiling and/or master data management desirable.
